The Family and Community Medicine Department hosted the meeting of the ministerial committee for updating the curricula of medical colleges in Iraq.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Anis Khalil Nail, the Family and Community Medicine Department at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, hosted the meeting of the ministerial committee for updating the curricula of medical colleges in Iraq on the topics of antimicrobials and infection control. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Colleges of Medicine of Al-Nahrain, Al-Mustansiriya, and Al-Kindi on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM. During the meeting, a draft of the joint report for the medical colleges' curricula and a draft proposal for the curriculum to be added to the colleges' curricula, according to each college's system and specificity, were written. This draft will be presented to the higher ministerial committee and the Council of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq. These meetings are essential steps towards developing the curricula in medical colleges to achieve the goals of sustainable development and international accreditation.
