Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine - Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. (Anis Khalil Nayel), Pediatrics branch in the college held a workshop entitled (Common problems in newborns) on 2/2/2021 through the (Zoom), the lecture was given by Prof. Dr. (Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali) Prof. Dr. (Areej Abd al-Abbas) and Dr (Sinan Abd al-Razzaq), A number of faculty members in the college and other colleges participated in the workshop and a number of doctors in Imamine al-Kadhimin medical city. The workshop included many topics which is the definition of hypoglycemia in newborns its symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment methods, also the causes of convulsive seizures in newborns their diagnosis, treatment methods, and their complications as well as the causes of cyanosis in the newborn, its diagnosis and treatment methods.
