The College of Medicine at the University of Nahrein organized a scientific seminar on "Information and Data Security and Preservation." The seminar took place in the classrooms of the College of Medicine, where lectures were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Sarah Khalef Jasim and Assistant Professor Dr. Ayat Salman Shaheeb, faculty members at the College of Law, University of Nahrein.
The seminar was attended by a group of faculty and staff members of the college, and the following recommendations were made:
1. Activate legal texts regarding the criminalization of actions that breach information security and impose stricter penalties on offenders.
2. Conduct workshops and training courses for employees to raise awareness of the importance of the topic, educate them, and emphasize the necessity of their awareness of the subject.
3. Train competent individuals in the field of information protection.
4. Establish specialized centers for information and data security to protect them from breaches.
