On Sunday, September 1, 2024, Master's student Hussein Hadi Saeed from the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics defended his thesis titled:

**"Use of Pseudo-Perception for Reducing the Inaccuracy and Increasing Efficiency of Long Surgical Devices"**

**Objective**: This research aimed to utilize the pseudo-perception feature in MATLAB to reduce the impact of surgeon tremors on the accuracy and efficiency of long surgical tools used in endoscopic surgery.

The study concluded that the pseudo-perception method significantly reduced time consumption and was less prone to failed attempts. The method also received higher ratings for ease of operation, accuracy, and faster usage speed.
