The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine held a training course on the use of the pH meter in medical chemistry laboratories in Discussion Hall No. (1), with the attendance of several faculty members. The course lasted for five days, from Sunday, September 22, 2024, to Thursday, September 26, 2024.
### Course Objective:
The course aimed to train participants on using the pH meter in various applications, such as chemical laboratories, agriculture, and the food industry, ensuring that substances or solutions maintain the required pH levels. The course included an introduction to the device, its components, how it works, and the applications of the pH meter in various fields, including the medical field, such as measuring the acidity of blood and other body fluids for medical diagnosis.
