Under the patronage of the Dean, a seminar was held by Assistant Lecturer (Shahad Khalid Hamid) at the Medical Research Center on Monday, July 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM to discuss the topic of bispecific antibodies. The following points were addressed: 1. Types and formats of bispecific antibodies. 2. Target selection for bispecific antibodies. 3. Common targets of bispecific antibodies in cancer treatment. 4. Classification of antibodies based on target selection. 5. Mechanisms of action of bispecific antibodies. 6. Regulatory requirements for bispecific antibodies. 7. Future potential applications of bispecific antibodies in cancer treatment. 8. Challenges and future directions. The seminar recommended the following: 1. Adopting the use of bispecific antibodies in the treatment of various cancers due to their high efficiency. 2. Conducting applied research on the effectiveness of bispecific antibodies in autoimmune diseases.
