Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, a scientific symposium was held today, Monday, November 4, 2024, by the Department of Pharmacology. It was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Fouad Kazem Kataa, Head of the Department of Pharmacology, under the title: **"The Impact of Anabolic Steroid Use in Bodybuilding on Male Infertility"** The symposium concluded with the following recommendations: 1. Enforcing stricter laws on the sale and distribution of anabolic steroids is essential to reduce misuse and abuse. 2. Policies regarding this issue should clarify the legal consequences and the associated health risks of using anabolic steroids. 3. Healthcare providers are recommended to screen for anabolic steroid use during routine evaluations, especially in cases of unexplained infertility or related symptoms.
