Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nail, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, organized a training course titled: "Introduction to Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)" in Discussion Hall No. 1.
The course lasted for five days, from November 10 to November 14, 2024.
Objective of the Course:
The course aimed to provide participants with the skills to detect infectious diseases, including viruses (such as the Coronavirus) and bacteria (such as Tuberculosis), as well as identify genetic mutations associated with hereditary diseases or cancers, and to study genes and various biological functions.
